Tales of the Distant Past: The Story of Hong Kong and the Chinese Diaspora exhibition at the Chinese American Museum in Chinatown in downtown Los Angeles explored the origins of the Chinese diaspora around the world.
This exhibit showcases Hong Kong’s role as the transportation hub for the global emigration of over 50 million Chinese who currently live in more than 136 countries.
